The CloudGC Story

CloudGC was founded by John Charles; a corporate general counsel who has over 20 years of experience running Legal Departments.

Frustrated with the multitude of different applications needed to accomplish even a portion of a task a typical legal department is responsible for made John decide he simply had to “Find A Better Way”.

Together with other like-minded corporate attorneys who contributed their professional experience to this endeavor, John set out to find a solution. In 2017 after researching a number of the current Contract Lifecycle Management applications under real work conditions, he collected the data and teamed up with Baljinder Singh, a programming engineer and entrepreneur (of Techwin Lab fame) to create something different.

The result is AGRE; A single system that replaces the myriad of applications a typical corporate legal team uses to take a contract all the way from initiation to renewal.

In essence, AGRE is a backend technological workhorse that forces accuracy and expediency to significantly cut down on departmental time while still being intuitive enough to the point where any person, regardless of their legal experience, can create and manage contracts.

In short, AGRE is the future of CLMs; an application sophisticated enough to serve every need of a general counsel, yet easy enough for a field salesperson to use.

Unlike the myriad of current CLM offerings, the AGRE application was designed by corporate attorneys initially for their own use and then was transitioned to an actual product. You could say that by being so, it is the only “General Counsel centric” software on the market today, and as such it gives the legal department ultimate control over all aspects of the contract lifecycle with other departmental stalwarts such as sales, purchasing, and IT playing contributing roles. In fact, thousands of lines of code have been created to ensure this application’s ease of use and enhanced cutting-edge capabilities.
